Production of stretch films by means of flat-slit extrusion.
The production of stretch films in this way makes it possible to obtain products that look like a solid polymer web, which is subsequently wound onto a vertical cylindrical sleeve. It is this method of production that makes it possible to produce such a stretch film as a cling film. As a result of this production, you can get a stretch film in from three to seven, but the most popular in this case is considered a five-layer stretch film.
To improve the final properties of finished products and technical and economic indicators in our production we use a copolymer of ethylene and propylene. This elastomer, introduced into the recipe for the production of stretch films, improves the smoothness of the film surface, increases its mechanical strength and elasticity, and increases heat resistance.
